As you may be aware, we have a truly insane varsity football schedule this year as a result of GISA making changes to the region structure. This has led to our playing schools that are significantly larger than us. In one case we are competing against a school with over 600 high school students and a football tradition that stretches over many decades and all of this in a year when we happen to have one of the youngest teams since the first year that we launched the football program. Despite this, our player's morale has remained high and each week they have taken to an uneven field of combat committed to doing their very best. But now to the best part...our sports programs are about character formation, win, lose or draw. On Saturday night, after a tough game against an overpowering opponent our players did not leave the field rejected rather they walked over to the stands where a small number of stalwart fans remained, removed their helmets and saluted their supporters.
C-Pride!
