Have you seen the moon tonight?

If not and you are in the Eastern Time Zone of the USA, step outside. If a cloud is in the way, be patient, it will move.

As I walked out of Mass this evening I was preoccupied in my own little world. The last week has demanded uninterrupted focus on our college accreditation visit and the weeks before that had been barely less intense. During recent days I have given no thought to the world outside our campus and then tonight on the steps of the Church I looked up and saw a crystal clear full moon in a velvet black sky and finally remembered that the magnificence of God's creation is infinite and eternal and no matter how critical our daily tasks may appear to us they are but a microscopic particle in God's overriding plan.

  1. God is infinite in his wisdom and beauty in how he created the world. Each life is unique and created to give praise to God. Let everything with spirit (breath) give praise to the Lord!! Psalm 150, v 6.
    It is truely amazing!
