One of the great successes of 2009 / 2010 has been the development of our GOAL fundraising and the number of students that have been able to attend the school as a result of the generosity of donors in the school and parish communities. By the end of the last school-year we had allocated all of the monies raised but the news over the summer was that nearly $100,000 was donated since school was out! That will fund an additional 10 students :-) GOAL funding is absolutely "free money", an opportunity for all Georgia tax payers to deflect tax dollars from the State to the school. If every family at the school contributed to GOAL we could lower tuition for everyone!
This evening was the PreK2 party at our house,the attendees were primarily parents brand new to the school and we had fun getting to know everyone that came to represent the class of 2025 (or 2029 at Holy Spirit College!). It is exciting to meet parents many of whom will be a part of our community for 15 or more years.
