Today the sun shined again on the upper school campus.
Our sophomore students spent their afternoon creating a memorial garden for Tylor and planting trees in his honor and as they did so the sun shined and they smiled, played and laughed taking joy in their personal contribution to this celebration of their dear friend. The sadness will never completely dissipate but it is only right that the happiness should return to the lives of these young people. In the years to come there will be too many causes for sadness and they have already learned that every moment of joy should be seized and cherished.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the picnic.
