I cannot believe that it is so long since I last posted but my extended and glorious Spring Break vacation is an excuse for a good portion of that time. I would spin more yarns of the exotic South Pacific but as we bumped into colleagues and families alike in Florida (and seniors in the rest area driving home) I will reserve tales of Shangri La for another break. Suffice it to say that I managed to avoid the allure of e-mail, text and even telephone calls for nearly all of the break, cheating only once while Barbara was shopping. Reading books for pure enjoyment (rather than research) is, well, so "enjoyable" that I really should make a habit of it. Tonight I will be enjoying a celebratory "Fat Tuesday" dinner with ten priest friends and an equal number of fellow laity; Fogo de Chao is definitely an ideal location for such carnivore hedonism!
